Pueblo County Traffic Courts

Search Pueblo Traffic Records

Pay Pueblo Traffic Tickets
Municipal Court states that most traffic and adult offenses can be paid any time after 48 hours after ticket issuance and before the arraignment date on the ticket, unless a mandatory appearance is required. A guilty or no-contest plea can be entered and paid online, by mail, by drop box, or in person.
Mail and drop-box payments require the person to sign and date the back of the citation, include the exact fine and surcharge, and mail or drop the payment at 200 South Main Street, Pueblo, CO 81003. For a receipt, include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Payment must reach the court no later than arraignment. Failure can lead to late fees or a bench warrant.

Pueblo Traffic Deferred Sentencing
Pueblo Municipal Court publishes a specific municipal traffic deferred sentencing policy. The deferred period can run up to 12 months. If the person is not adjudicated, convicted, or found guilty of any additional traffic offense after the plea date, pays all fines and costs, and meets conditions, the conviction will not enter and the case is dismissed after the deferred period.
- Clean three-year driver history - may qualify with a $20 deferred sentence fee.
- Minor three-year history - no more than two violations including deferred sentences and no more than eight points may qualify with a $50 fee.
- Previous collections case - makes the person ineligible.
- Under 21 - traffic school is a condition.
- Six-point or greater violation - requires appearance before a judge after arraignment or advisement.

Court vs Driver Records
A Pueblo County traffic court record and a Colorado driver record are different files. The court file tracks the ticket or case in Pueblo Combined Court or Pueblo Municipal Court. The driver record is maintained by the Colorado DMV and shows driving history, convictions reported to DMV, points, license status, suspensions, and reinstatement data.

Colorado DMV Traffic Records
The Colorado myDMV portal is used for driver-record requests and other DMV transactions. The DMV help page says a user should create a myDMV account, verify identity, select available services, and request a driving record. This is not a court pleading, docket, or certified disposition.

Pueblo Traffic Case Limits
Failure to appear matters can move from ordinary ticket handling into warrant risk. Municipal Court warns that payment must be received by the arraignment date and that failure can lead to late fees or a bench warrant. DUI and DWAI cases are traffic-related, but they are usually criminal matters rather than simple citation records. The full criminal case file may include arraignment, motions, plea, disposition, sentencing, probation, or jail terms. Those records belong with Pueblo County criminal court records rather than a payment-only traffic lookup.
Sealing is also case-specific. Colorado public access rules and sealing statutes can limit public display after a court order or automatic sealing process, but sealing does not mean every government agency record vanishes. Juvenile traffic or municipal juvenile matters may also carry access limits.
